Accounting Support Specialist – Manufacturing Finance Team ($25–$27/hr)

You'll be handling daily transaction processing, journal entries, general ledger work, and reporting across multiple legal entities — real full-cycle accounting, not a single repetitive task.

What You'll Be Doing

• Processing and recording daily financial transactions accurately and on time
• Posting journal entries, reconciling accounts, and preparing trial balances across multiple legal entities
• Maintaining general ledgers and preparing financial reports
• Preparing and processing invoices, payments, and expense reports
• Reconciling bank statements and resolving discrepancies directly with the bank
• Supporting the Controller with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Assisting with monthly financial reporting, forecasting, and government remittances
• Supporting annual and government audit processes with documentation and data
• Collaborating cross-functionally to ensure accurate financial reporting

• Proven experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related financial role
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with older versions of Sage accounting software is a strong asset
