Title: Accounting Manager
LOCATION: Louisville, KY
ENVIRONMENT: HYBRID (4 days per week in office)
COMPENSATION: $80,000 - $100,000 base, 12% bonus potential and a strong benefits
OVERVIEW: Accounting Manager
We are looking for an Accounting Manager to join an industry-leading organization to lead key financial efforts. This role will focus on providing financial planning, debt financing, and budget management for this company. The ideal candidate will be able to analyze, understands, and continually improve all accounting procedures for this operation. RESPONSIBILITIES: Accounting Manager
- Coordinate timely and accurate reporting of all financial accounting for the Central Kentucky/Ohio strategic market area.
- Lead preparation of GAAP financial statements.
- Responsible for variance analyses and reporting on area performance to management.
- Monitor and comply with evolving accounting guidance.
- Advise staff on how to handle non-routine accounting transactions.
- Drive improvements to department workflows and serve as an advisor to other department leads on improving process efficiencies, internal controls, and enhanced use of systems.
- Work with direct reports to establish goals and objectives for each year, provide training, mentoring, and monitor the progress to enhance the professional development of staff.
REQUIREMENTS: Accounting Manager
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA a plus.
- Minimum (3) years accounting/financial experience required.
- Experience working with an ERP system, Oracle experience a plus.
- Advanced Excel Skills
