KNM is targeting a professional with 4 to 6 years of experience in a combination of public accounting and corporate accounting, or straight Big 4/top regional experience. Strong internal controls and experience with publicly traded companies are essential. A CPA or near completion is required. DESCRIPTION
- Assist with quarterly and annual external financial reporting
- Comply with all SEC & IFRS guidelines
- Ensuring complete and accurate financial statements and disclosures.
- Provide XBRL oversight
- Participate in preparing financial statement disclosures
- Ensure SOX 404 controls adhere to accounting policies and procedures.
- Liaise with departments across the company including Accounting, Treasury, Tax and Investor Relations
- Provide support in the area of any new or recent accounting standards to ensure financial statement disclosures are accurate
- Continuously improve and automate where possible
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- CPA or nearing completion
- 4 – 8 years of public accounting or public/private accounting experience
- Strong Internal Controls / SOX compliance experience
- Publicly traded company experience that includes US GAAP and or IFRS
- Strong analytical skills
