We're looking for an experienced Accounting Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building efficient processes while leading a small, collaborative team. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, you'll play a key role in maintaining the financial health of the business while helping scale our accounting operations.

What You'll Do

As our Accounting Manager, you'll oversee the day-to-day accounting function while managing a team of two accounting professionals. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls, and driving continuous process improvements.

Responsibilities include:

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process.
• Prepare and review financial statements, journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP.
• Supervise the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions while providing coaching and support to two direct reports.
• Review vendor payments, expense reports, and customer invoicing.
• Responsible for reviewing and submitting third-party royalty statements
• Support annual audits and maintain organized accounting documentation and internal controls.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve workflows, and implement best practices as the company continues to grow.
• Collaborate with leaders across multiple departments to provide financial insight and support business decisions.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience with responsibility for financial reporting and month-end close.
• Previous experience supervising or mentoring accounting staff.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and accounting best practices.
• Experience with ERP or accounting systems such as NetSuite, QuickBooks Online, or similar platforms.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to partner effectively across the organization.
