Hanwha Vision America (HVA) is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Manager to oversee and manage the day-to-day accounting operations of our organization. This position is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, preparing financial reports, maintaining the general ledger, supporting audits, coordinating state filings, and providing accounting support to assigned subsidiaries. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical accounting knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee general accounting functions, including:
- General ledger
- Accounts payables
- Accounts Receivables
- Fixed Assets
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
- Ensure timely and accurate month end and year end closing process
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies
- Maintain accounting records and documentation in accordance with company policy
- Support treasury operations, including cash management, cash flow forecasting, working capital management, banking relationships, and loan administration.
- Monitor loan balances, repayment schedules, and compliance with lending agreements and financial covenants.
- Provide documentation and support for internal & external audits
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual state compliance filings, including annual reports, sales tax filings, business registrations, and other regulatory requirements.
- Provide accounting and financial support to assigned subsidiary operations.
- Contribute to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures.
- Participate in calls with headquarters as needed.
- Support special projects and perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting or finance experience.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and IFRS.
- Excellent analytical, research, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to accuracy.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience with SAP is preferred.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Korean is preferred.
