Accounting Manager

Cherry Bekaert Recruiting and Staffing is searching for an Interim Accounting Manager for a services organization in Marietta, GA.

This will be an Interim role for 2-3 months and will require being on site 4-5 days per week.

Candidate will be responsible for:

• Oversight of small accounting team
• Month/Quarter-end close activities
• Coordination for General ledger processes and corporate office consolidations
• Hands-on GL activities as needed (reconciliations, journal entries, etc.)
• Support for escalated issues from team as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Candidate should have the following background:

• 8+ years of accounting experience, with 2+ years as a manager or supervisor
• Experience with Sage Intacct
• Strong Excel background
• Ability to run close and coordinate amongst a small team
• Ideal candidate would have a public/private mix of experience, but not required
