Accounting ManagerOur client is a Shared Service Center that provides finance and accounting services seeking an Accounting Manager able to prepare, review and analyze financial statements and meet aggressive reporting requirements for multiple agencies. Reporting to the Director of Accounting and Reporting, our ideal candidate will enjoy working directly with the Agency & offshore teams as well as the internal staff within the Shared Service Center.• Manage Senior I Accountants on assigned team
- Review and approve timesheets, time off requests and prepare and deliver annual evaluations
- Coordinate offshore team activities and work product
- Primary contact with Agency Finance teams
- Approve journal entries with appropriate backup
- Review & submit final P&L and Balance Sheet to Agency for approval
- Promote Agency approved Revenue Flash, P&L and B/S in Hyperion Financial Management tool
- Maintain Agency scoreboard with current close status
- Review Hyperion Financial Management walk to Microsoft Dynamics AX trial balance to ensure there are no topside entries
- Review and approve B/S reconciliation package
- Promote all working capital schedules in Hyperion Financial Management tool
- Promote Internal Reporting Package schedules in Hyperion Financial Management tool
- Complete various report for the annual tax package
- Other duties as needed
