Accounting Generalist 

• Location: Running Aces Casino Hotel Racetrack - 15201 Running Aces Blvd, Columbus, MN 55025

• Schedule: Part Time, December 2025- April 2026, flexible schedule

Purpose of the Accounting Generalist:

The purpose of the Accounting Generalist is to facilitate and assist with daily, monthly and yearly accounting transactions. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Creates and maintains data and journal entries for accounting transactions
• Performs daily revenue auditing
• Assists with clerical work, data entry, and filing as needed
• Assist with accounts payable and bank statement reconciliations
• Performs month-end account reconciliations
• Assists with audit preparation
• Any additional duties or projects assigned

Skills/Requirements

• Previous accounting knowledge and experience required
• Excellent communication, organization, and analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Numbers-oriented and previous experience working with computers, 10-key and Microsoft Office
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex situations and data
• Flexibility with the ability to work independently and in a team setting
• Must possess excellent computer skills and be a self-starter with the ability to follow-up and complete tasks in a timely manner with minimum supervision
• Must possess sound judgment and the ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanor
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships as well as to gain the cooperation of fellow team members
• This position must have an ability to acquire within four months, a comprehensive understanding of company policies and procedures, state regulations, and technical rules relevant to the role’s responsibilities.
• Must possess the ability to obtain and maintain a Minnesota Racing Commission gaming license
