Job Summary
Performs simple, repetitive tasks within the general or specialized accounting functions of a department. Posts journal entries, processes payments, verifies information, files, and assists in the preparation of reports.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Performs repetitive tasks within general or specialized accounting functions of a department.
- Performs routine and repetitive accounting duties under close supervisor with specific instructions.
- May check matching payments to accounts receivable, plus invoice and purchase order items.
- May assist in preparing bank or cash room statements and journal vouchers.
- May assist the Budget tracking, forecasting, and P-Card monthly report processing
Requirements
- Must be an Accounting Major. ( Sophomores and Juniors)
- Able to use a 10-key calculator by touch.
- Good eyesight and manual dexterity.
- Able to communicate in English.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understand basic accounting procedures.
- A high school graduate or the equivalent.
- No prior work experience necessary.

All applicants must be available for an on-site interview at the Polynesian Cultural Center in Laie.
Approximate starting hourly rate:
$16.00 - $18.00
The wage offered could be above or below range based on education and experience as it relates to the job description.
