The Role We are seeking an accounting clerk to support the accounting and operations team in Northern Michigan. This is an entry-level finance position responsible for ensuring accurate financial documentation Key Responsibilities Record financial transactions and perform data entry into accounting systems. Process and review invoices, including accounts payable and receivable. Receive and record vouchers, cash, and checks. Reconcile accounts and report discrepancies. Maintain financial filing systems and organize documents for audits. Support Regional Controller with basic reports and reconciliations. Use accounting software to process transactions. Entering financial data and updating ledgers. Reviewing invoices and receipts for accuracy. Filing and organizing financial documents. Communicating with vendors and internal departments. What We're Looking For (Qualifications ) High school diploma required; associate degree in accounting preferred. Knowledge of basic accounting and bookkeeping.
