Accounting Clerk - Accounts Receivable

Location: Tampa, FL (On-Site)

Job Type: Full-Time

Pay: $20.00 – $23.00 per hour

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to support day-to-day accounting operations. This role is ideal for a candidate with experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger activity who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

· Record and maintain accurate general and subledger entries across multiple entities

· Process and post customer payments (ACH, wires, and checks)

· Track and reconcile daily cash activity

· Assist with month-end close, including AR reporting and reconciliations

· Maintain accurate customer records and documentation

· Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes

· Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner

· Support audit requests and provide AR related reporting

Qualifications

· Associate degree in accounting or 3+ years of accounting experience

· Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP or similar ERP system (required)

· Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel

· Solid understanding of accounting principles (AP, AR, GL, reconciliations)

· Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

· Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities
Experience in multi-entity or multi-location environments preferred

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
