Temporary Accounting Assistant (2–3 Month Assignment)

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Temporary Accounting Assistant to join our team for a 2–3 month assignment in Yuba City. This position is ideal for someone who can work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and requires minimal supervision.

Hours: 40 hours a week

Pay: $26.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions

• Process invoices and maintain accurate financial records

• Perform data entry with a high level of accuracy

• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies

• Prepare reports using Microsoft Excel

• Create and edit documents using Microsoft Word

• Organize and maintain accounting files and records

• Provide general administrative support to the accounting department

• Complete additional accounting-related tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of accounting experience required

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word

• Strong data entry and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently with little to no supervision

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong time management and problem-solving skills

• Professional communication and interpersonal skills
