We are in need of an Accounting Assistant to join our team in Hartford, WI. Under the direction of the Office Manager, the Accounting Clerk will own the job duties listed below:

Position Title:

Accounting Assistant

Job Summary:

Ewald Automotive Group is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Assistant to support the daily operations of the accounting department. This position is responsible for processing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, assisting with accounts payable functions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Process and enter invoices, receipts, and financial transactions accurately and timely.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Process dealership deposits and verify cash, checks, and credit card transactions.
• Various other accounting functions.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and internal controls.

Qualifications:

• Previous accounting, bookkeeping, or office administrative experience a plus, will train the right person.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer.
• Frequent use of hands and fingers for keyboarding and office equipment.
• Ability to occasionally lift and carry files, office supplies, and boxes up to 20 pounds.
• Ability to bend, reach, and move throughout the office as needed.

Work Environment:

• Professional office environment within an automotive dealership group.
• Regular interaction with management, dealership personnel, vendors, and customers.
• Normal business hours with occasional overtime during month-end and year-end closing periods.

Work Schedule:

• Monday through Friday 9am-3pm
