We are seeking an accurate individual to manage our administrative fiscal operations. You will perform bookkeeping, account reconciliation, and payroll processing. The ideal candidate uses independent judgment to maintain financial ledgers and keep expenditures aligned with budgets.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Ledger Maintenance: Classify, proof, and post daily financial transactions to journals and ledgers.
• Account Reconciliation: Take trial balances, reconcile bank accounts, and maintain control accounts.
• Budget Monitoring: Track and compare organizational expenditures against approved budget limits.
• Payroll Processing: Review timesheets, calculate earnings, and process full payroll cycles.
• Data Verification: Verify pay rates, authorizations, and voluntary or statutory deductions.
• Fiscal Reporting: Prepare comprehensive financial summaries, budget reports, and payroll records. 

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience: Proven track record in bookkeeping, governmental/district accounting, or payroll administration.
• Financial Skills: Strong understanding of trial balances, ledger posting, and budget control.
• Technical Proficiency: Mastery of Microsoft Office 365, specifically Excel for spreadsheets and Access for database queries.
• Discretion: Demonstrated ability to exercise judgment and handle sensitive payroll information securely.
