Description/Job Summary

POSITION DESCRIPTION 

As HydroGeoLogic, Inc. (HGL) continues to grow, we are seeking an Accountant I to join our Finance and Accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for an early career professional who is eager to develop their accounting skills while gaining hands-on experience in Accounts Payable, expense reimbursements, account reconciliation, vendor maintenance, and general accounting processes.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, dependable, and eager to learn. A basic understanding of accounting principles is required, while familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) is a plus.

Details

Work Schedule: HGL office work is dictated by a 5-day work week up to 40 hours per week; however, accounting deadline schedules may require occasional longer hours.

Office Type: Hybrid, in office 3 days per week after 90-day training period, which will be fully on-site.

Travel: No travel expected.

A favorable pre-hire drug test is required.

All positions are subject to a pre-hire education and driving record verification.

This specific role supports a U.S. Federal government contract which requires employees engaged on this contract to be U.S. citizens.

The annual salary for this position ranges from $53,113 - $77,015. This position's final salary can be impacted by various factors including, but not limited to, contractual requirements, geographic location, job-related education, training, experience, and skills.
