Associate Accountant, External Reporting

$62.00/hour | Monday–Friday, 8 hours/day | Weekly pay every Friday | Overtime opportunities available | At $62/hr and 50 hrs/week, for example, earn weekly paychecks of $3,410 gross.

Position Overview
The Associate Accountant, External Reporting supports the preparation and filing of external financial reports and SEC filings for a major energy services company. This developmental role gives hands-on exposure to public company financial reporting, SEC compliance, U.S. GAAP, and financial statement disclosures. It is a strong opportunity for recent graduates looking to build a foundation in corporate accounting.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and filing of SEC reports, including Forms 10-Q, 10-K, and 8-K
• Support the preparation of earnings releases and other external reporting requirements
• Assist in preparing and reviewing financial statement disclosures and supporting documentation
• Prepare and post journal vouchers and basic accounting reports and analyses
• Work cross-functionally with Investor Relations, Treasury, Tax, Legal, FP&A, and Corporate Accounting teams

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial statements
• Strong interest in financial reporting, SEC compliance, and technical accounting
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and financial applications
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders in a corporate environment
