Job Description Role Overview To be located in Brookfield’s Luxembourg Office as part of the Finance team. The position will work closely with the local Legal Team and Finance Teams abroad. To be in charge of general accounting and reporting of Luxembourg based Holding Companies and their subsidiaries holding real estate assets across Europe. Key Responsibilities • Review, posting and payment of supplier invoices • Booking of quarterly intercompany transactions and other cash transactions from bank statements • Pro-active participation in the quarter-end / year-end close process • Preparation of the statutory financial statements under Lux GAAP and IFRS, where applicable • Review the monthly, quarterly, and annual VAT returns • Liaison with the tax authorities, tax advisors, auditors and all relevant stakeholders • Participation in cash management cycle and budgeting Technical Skills • Fluent in English, any other language will be considered as an asset • Proactive and dynamic team player with excellent communication skills • 1-2 years’ experience, ideally gained in a similar environment (Fiduciary, Big 4, Asset Manager etc.) • Ability to work autonomously and in an international environment • Previous experience with Viewpoint and/or Yardi will be considered an asset Brookfield is committed to maintaining a Positive Work Environment that is safe and respectful; our shared success depends on it.
