Accountant

Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant to manage daily accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in accounting principles and able to work comfortably with numbers and attention to detail. This role involves preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and supporting budgeting and auditing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all accounting transactions (AP/AR, general ledger, etc.)
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow
• Assist with budget preparation and financial planning
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
• Process invoices, expense reports, and payments
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
• Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits
• Assist in tax calculations and filing as per applicable laws
• Support month-end and year-end close processes

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role (1–3 years preferred)
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Hands-on experience with accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP)
• Proficiency in MS Excel and financial functions
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional certification (e.g., CA Inter, CPA, CMA) is a plus
• Experience in [industry-specific, e.g., manufacturing, IT, real estate] accounting
• Familiarity with GST, TDS, and other compliance regulations (India-specific if applicable)
