Vice President (VP) of Finance and Accounting
Company Overview
ImpactOffice Technologies is looking for a strategic and highly analytical Vice President of Finance and Accounting. In this executive leadership role, you will oversee all financial, accounting, and fiscal management operations. You will serve as the right-hand financial advisor to the executive team, ensuring the company has the right controls, metrics, and scalable processes to drive sustainable growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Accounting Operations: Direct all accounting functions, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, tax compliance, and revenue recognition.
- Financial Reporting & Close: Oversee the timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes. Produce reliable, GAAP-compliant financial statements and reports for internal leadership and external stakeholders.
- Strategic Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Lead annual budgeting and long-term forecasting processes. Build financial models and scenario analyses to support investments, pricing, and cost-reduction initiatives.
- Cash Management & Treasury: Optimize working capital and liquidity by developing reliable cash flow projections and managing banking relationships.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal tax laws, as well as regulatory filings. Design and maintain robust internal controls to protect company assets.
- Team Leadership: Mentor, lead, and develop the finance and accounting team. Foster a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with department heads to harmonize financial targets with operational schemes, identifying opportunities for operational efficiency.
- Audit Management: Serve as the primary liaison for internal and external auditors, managing the preparation and review of audit schedules.
Qualifications
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
- Certification: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation strongly preferred.
- Experience: 10+ years of progressively responsible financial leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior management role overseeing both accounting and finance.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in financial modeling (Excel), ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle), and advanced accounting software.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of GAAP, corporate finance, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
- Communication: Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business strategies.
- Leadership: Proven track record of managing, mentoring, and building high-performing finance and accounting teams.
