Trusts and Estate Tax Manager

Responsibilities:
- Review and prepare federal and state fiduciary income tax returns (Form 1041), estate tax returns (Form 706), and related filings
- Lead multiple tax engagements to deliver quality tax preparation, research, planning, and consulting services for a variety of clients
- Ensure compliance with legal and tax requirements for trust and estate entities
- Communicate technical issues, recommendations, and opportunities to clients and prospects, including in-person meetings
- Provide guidance and training to junior staff, and collaborate within integrated team to meet client and firm deadlines
- Stay current with changes in fiduciary, tax, and estate law, and participate in ongoing professional development
- Proactive approach to process improvement and regulatory changes
- 5+ years of specialized experience in trust and estate tax
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, MST preferred
- CPA strongly preferred
