Summary:
This position plays a vital role in the monthly Treasury Management close process. Reports directly to the Treasury Manager and also provides support for the VP and other key management in the Treasury and Accounting departments.
This position is based in Atlanta, GA in our Galleria office and is a hybrid role. Applicants in CA, CO, DC, HI, IL, MD, MA, MN, NJ, NY, RI, VT, and WA are not eligible for this posting.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Reconcile daily/monthly depository & credit card transactions Prepare and execute monthly bank reconciliations. Reconcile daily/monthly disbursement accounts Prepares and/or assists with month-end closing processes and journal entries. Promotes teamwork by backing up other team members as needed. Assists with special projects when required.
Education and Experience:
0-2 years of previous Accounting experience required (Treasury/Cash Management experience preferred) Bachelor’s Degree – Accounting, Finance or similar field required
Required Skills:
Proficient in Excel, Word & Outlook Knowledge of General Accounting and Reconciliation Procedures General Ledger knowledge Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Outstanding organizational skills - ability to multi-task
