POSITION SUMMARY Under the supervision of the Chief Finance and Data Officer, the Treasury Specialist manages all purchase card programs for the organization and handles various banking related functions for FREE, its subsidiaries, and its affiliates under management agreement. DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES, AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Understands and follows established department policy and procedures as they relate to banking and corporate card programs. Manages the agency purchase cards, including card master files and card limits. Imports daily transactions and monitors workflow for any issues. Follows up on unapproved transactions and rejected items to ensure timely posting for payment.
Downloads daily bank transactions for all accounts and prepares the preliminary journal entry for daily cash. Uploads files to the bank, including but not limited to Positive Pay files and ACH payment files. Enters approved Account Transfer and Wire Transfer requests via the online banking portal. Promptly notifies the appropriate department of any returned items or unusual deposits and ensures they are resolved according to policy. Initiates all federal, state, and corporate tax payments online using specialized government payment portals (e.g., EFTPS, state tax departments) and corporate online banking systems. Ensures that all required documentation (paper and electronic) is completed/processed appropriately, in a timely manner, and meets quality and compliance thresholds. Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required; college degree or college level courses in Accounting or Finance preferred.
Experience:
Experience in accounting, finance, banking or a related administrative role preferred.
Specialized Training, Licenses, Certifications:
Not required, training will be provided upon hire as needed
Knowledge, Skills, Competencies, and Abilities:
Functional proficiency in spoken and written English Basic accounting skills Computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment with flexibility, keeping others informed and anticipating needs is essential. Knowledge of banking operations, cash management, ACH and wire transfers, and corporate card programs. Ability to accurately process, review, and reconcile financial transactions and resolve discrepancies and exceptions. Ability to accurately manage cash and banking transactions with a high degree of precision, coordination, and control, in accordance with established policies and procedures. Must be efficient, well organized, detail oriented, and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

WORK ENVIRONMENT This role is performed in-person in a standard office environment. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Employee is required to sit, walk and stand for prolonged period of time (at least 8 hours). Employee is required to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing. Employee is required to operate standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, fax and filing cabinets. Employee is required to reach with hands and arms. Employee may be required to lift, bend, or move light items.
