About The Role:
- As a Treasury Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the financial operations by managing daily treasury activities, cash flow, and accounts payable. This position is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely movement of funds, maintaining strong banking and vendor relationships, and supporting loan funding operations. Working cross-functionally with Accounting, Servicing, and Operations, you will help ensure financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and effective liquidity management while contributing to continuous process improvements.
What You'll Do:
- Manage all daily treasury activities, including reviewing banking activity and processing wire transfers.
- Manage the full accounts payable cycle, including invoice review, coding, payment processing, vendor communication, and maintaining accurate AP records.
- Maintain a live wire tracker and provide timely updates on loan-related funding activity.
- Monitor daily cash balances and provide management with updates on the company's cash position and liquidity needs.
- Review IO strips on loans and ensure they are properly accounted for on RTL loans.
- Work with the Junior Accountant to review and remit interest reserve and escrow schedules as loans are boarded with servicers.
- Coordinate with the Servicing and Accounting teams to research and resolve funding, payment, and cash discrepancies.
- Communicate with banks, vendors, servicers, and other external parties as needed to resolve treasury- and payment-related matters.
- Maintain organized supporting documentation and ensure compliance with internal approval, treasury, and accounts payable controls.
- Assist with treasury reporting, bank reconciliations, month-end close, and audit requests.
- Support process improvements related to cash management, wire processing, treasury reporting, and accounts payable.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in treasury, accounting, or accounts payable.
- Knowledge of cash management, wire transfers, and bank reconciliations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software, preferably QuickBooks Online.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
