Position Description:
The Treasury Analyst is responsible for cash management, liquidity planning, and bank relationship management. The role supports critical functions such as cash flow forecasting, payment preparation, and reconciliation. This role involves implementing new processes, system changes, and improvements to enhance operational efficiency.Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and delivering financial policies, guidelines, and protocols to ensure regulatory compliance and best financial practices.
- Contribute to the preparation of various data and analytics reports.
- Coordinate testing and inspection of products and processes, implementing corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Gather, monitor, and analyze risk data, recommending further investigation using established risk management models and protocols.
- Identify instances of non-compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory codes, reporting and escalating issues as necessary.
- Independently collate and analyze data using established tools and methods.
- Monitor and analyze financial data using established finance systems and protocols.
- Prepare moderately complex documents and summaries using standard office software.
- Provide basic financial modeling input into business cases, costs, and schedules to support business growth initiatives.
- Provide support and advice to enhance data management systems' effectiveness.
- Support the Treasury Manager in operationalizing plans aligned with the treasury strategy.
