Treasurer Tax/Tag Clerk

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Treasurer Tag/Tax Clerk to join our team. The Treasurer Tag/Tax Clerk will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records of tax payments, and assisting with tagging and titling vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a background in financial management.
Responsibilities:
1. Process tax payments accurately and in a timely manner.
2. Assist with vehicle tagging and titling procedures.
3. Maintain precise financial records and documentation.
4. Reconcile accounts and handle financial transactions.
5. Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
6. Assist in preparing financial reports as needed.
7. Respond to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders regarding tax and financial matters.
8. Collaborate with other departments to support financial operations.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
2. Proven experience in financial management, tax processing, or related roles.
3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.
4. Proficiency in financial software and MS Office suite.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
7. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
