JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for processing time for drivers' payroll and maintain driver trip reports. Ensure hiring compliance with DOT and Land O’ Frost regulations and policies. Maintain safety mileage data for all drivers. Entering and maintaining driver log data and track drivers training. Responsible for working with other traffic department associates for continued progress in support of the entire department.
QUALIFICATIONS
Excellent written and verbal communications skills and the ability to pay close attention to details Must be able to multitask with constant interruptions Computer literate Good working knowledge of email Good general knowledge of the states and cities of the United States.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Process payroll for truck drivers on a timely basis Create, monitor and maintain driver trip reports Ensure compliance with hiring practices are in compliance with the Department of Transportation guidelines and established company guidelines Maintain regulatory compliance with driver qualification, alcohol, drug testing, and safety performance history are all managed and filed Processing and reporting new hires/terminations Field question from truck drivers Track Driver training Maintain revenue reporting Monitor and maintain Fuel Tax Recording / Reporting Respond to questions regarding driver and equipment qualification regarding safety and compliance, ICR, and DOT regulations Process all regulatory requests for fleet taxes and permits as needed Create as needed daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and other functional reports to ensure 100% compliance Monitor and maintain Permits / Licensing fleet information in systems and files Maintain current knowledge of DOT/FMCSR and OSHA regulations at the federal and state level
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Sitting 90% of an eight (8) hour day Standing or walking 10% of an eight (8) hour day Lifting, squatting, or turning 5% or less per week Lift up to 30 pounds on occasions Constant use of a computer terminal
