Summary<\/b>
<\/div>We are seeking a detail -oriented Technical Procurement Coordinator to manage the end -to -end
<\/div>procurement lifecycle for custom -engineered components. This role bridges engineering and
<\/div>supply chain by interpreting CAD drawings and models, coordinating with multiple suppliers,
<\/div>and ensuring on -time delivery of critical parts. The ideal candidate combines technical fluency
<\/div>with strong organizational skills and a drive to streamline processes through automation.

<\/div>Key Responsibilities<\/b>
<\/div>● Procurement & Supplier Management — Source, order, track, and expedite custom
<\/div>parts across multiple suppliers, ensuring accuracy against CAD drawings and 3D
<\/div>models.
<\/div>● Technical Coordination — Resolve technical questions from suppliers related to part
<\/div>specifications, tolerances, and materials; serve as the liaison between engineering and
<\/div>the supply base.
<\/div>● Design for Manufacturability (DFM) — Participate in DFM conversations with
<\/div>engineering and suppliers to ensure designs are producible, cost -effective, and aligned
<\/div>with supplier capabilities.
<\/div>● Delivery Risk Management — Proactively identify and mitigate delivery risks; escalate
<\/div>and expedite critical -path components to protect project timelines.
<\/div>● Process Automation & Efficiency — Leverage AI tools, scripts, and automation to
<\/div>reduce repetitive procurement tasks (e.g., order tracking, status reporting, data entry)
<\/div>and continuously improve workflows.
<\/div>

Requirements<\/h3>Qualifications<\/b>
<\/div>● Experience in technical procurement, supply chain coordination, or purchasing of
<\/div>custom/machined parts
<\/div>● Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings and 3D models (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD,
<\/div>or similar)
<\/div>● Familiarity with manufacturing processes (CNC, sheet metal, injection molding, etc.) and
<\/div>DFM principles
<\/div>● Strong communication skills for managing supplier relationships and cross -functional
<\/div>technical discussions
<\/div>● Highly organized with proven ability to track multiple orders and timelines simultaneously
<\/div>● Comfort with or enthusiasm for AI tools, scripting (e.g., Python, Excel macros), and
<\/div>workflow automation
<\/div>● Self -directed and curious; thrives in fast -paced lab environments where needs aren't
<\/div>always formally defined — proactively observes operations, identifies gaps, and drives
<\/div>improvements without waiting for direction.
<\/div>
<\/div>Preferred Qualifications<\/b>
<\/div>● Background in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, or industrial
<\/div>technology
<\/div>● Experience with ERP/MRP systems and procurement platforms
<\/div>● Track record of implementing process improvements or automation in a procurement or operations environment
<\/div><\/span>
