We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Contracts Coordinator to join our team, based out of Mount Uniacke, NS.

Summary:

Reporting to the Procurement Manager, this individual will work with customers on both new procurement and service opportunities; preparing, examining, analyzing, negotiating and revising contracts/purchase orders that involve the purchase or sale of goods or services including but not limited to equipment, materials, supplies products and onsite support.

In this role you will work closely suppliers and other teams of Mobile Valve to deliver excellent customer service on both large-scale projects and smaller purchase orders by examining and interpreting customer contract requirements and ensuring technical, monetary and product requirements are met.

Responsibilities:

Support Service and Procurement operations by managing customer inquiries, preparing quotations, processing RFQs/RFPs, and coordinating the purchase and sale of goods and services. Prepare, review, administer, and maintain contracts, purchase orders, and related documentation in accordance with company policies and procedures. Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to support maintenance programs, service work estimates, warranty claims, and project requirements. Perform valve sizing and technical product support using supplier portals and sizing software to meet customer specifications. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through daily monitoring of tender and government procurement websites. Manage the acquisition, distribution, and tracking of equipment, supplies, and inventory as required. Maintain accurate records, reports, spreadsheets, and filing systems while ensuring timely communication and dissemination of information. Participate in meetings, trade shows, supplier and customer engagements, and other business development or promotional activities as required. Utilize company systems, tools, and technology to support operational efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, health and safety standards, quality requirements, and security clearance obligations. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Post-secondary education in Business Administration or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior experience working in a fast-paced technical service environment such as valves, instrumentation, industrial maintenance, manufacturing, or similar would be an asset. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and responsiveness to changing priorities. Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Self-motivated and able to work independently while contributing as part of a team. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems, with strong overall computer literacy.
