GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF JOB:

The Tax Systems Analyst is responsible for ensuring each new tax year is set up and maintained correctly throughout the year in the tax software system, making sure that expected revenue balances to system generated revenue, and adhering to strict due dates for billing purposes. Various reports to the State of Colorado are required to be generated and remitted by statutorily mandated due dates.  Vendor relations and support for various interfaces must be updated and managed by ongoing testing.

This position is also a liaison between the Treasurer’s Office / Public Trustee’s Office and the Arapahoe County Communications Department to help maintain, draft, and track many internal regular publications to employees as well as external regular publications to the general public. This position requires the analysis of a variety of complex facts from a diverse operation to ensure timely workflow and compliance with state statutes within the office and in coordination with other affected agencies/departments/offices.
