Duties & Responsibilities
- Review complex individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Supervise multiple tax engagements simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met
- Provide technical guidance, training, and mentorship to tax staff and seniors
- Identify, research, and resolve complex tax issues and communicate findings clearly to leadership and clients
- Manage client relationships and serve as a primary point of contact for assigned engagements
- Assist with tax planning and advisory services for a variety of industries
- Assist the audit department with tax related matters
- Review workpapers and ensure compliance with firm policies and quality control standards
- Support business development activities, including client proposals and relationship building
- Stay current on tax regulations and industry developments
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- CPA Candidate required
- 5–7+ years of public accounting experience in tax
- Strong technical knowledge of federal and state tax regulations
- Experience supervising and developing staff in a team environment
- Ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships with clients and team members
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA License
- Experience with CCH Prosystems tax software, Engagement and Document a plus
Salary Range:
$100,000-$120,000
