Tax Supervising Senior
Location: Western U.S. (Hybrid opportunities may be available)
Compensation: $105,000 – $140,000 + comprehensive benefits

We are seeking an experienced Tax Supervising Senior to join a growing tax team. This role offers the opportunity to work with complex tax engagements, mentor and develop staff, and serve as a trusted advisor to a diverse client base.
What You'll Do
- Review and approve complex federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, trusts, and other entities.
- Manage and coordinate tax engagements to ensure quality, accuracy, and timely delivery.
- Handle advanced tax research and resolve complex tax issues.
- Lead and delegate work to tax staff and seniors while providing guidance and mentorship.
- Participate in client meetings and tax planning engagements.
- Serve as a primary client contact and build strong client relationships.
- Manage and oversee governmental tax examinations and represent clients before taxing authorities when appropriate.
- Collaborate with audit and accounting teams on integrated client service opportunities.
- Contribute to practice development initiatives through networking, business development, and community involvement.
- Assist in training, evaluating, and developing team members.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of public accounting tax experience with increasing levels of responsibility and complexity.
- 2+ years of experience representing clients before taxing authorities.
- Previous experience supervising and reviewing the work of tax professionals.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
- Master's degree in Taxation preferred.
- Active CPA license preferred, or actively pursuing CPA certification.
- Strong technical tax knowledge across multiple entity types.
- Excellent client service, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
