What You’ll Do 

As a Senior Manager on our State & Local Tax (SALT) team, you will lead complex direct tax (income/franchise) engagements for investment funds, private equity, hedge funds, and asset management clients. You’ll serve as a trusted advisor on multi-state tax matters, delivering strategic compliance, consulting, and structuring solutions with a strong emphasis on New York state taxation and Tri-State tax matters. 

Are you an experienced state and local tax professional with deep expertise in direct (income/franchise) tax and a passion for delivering high-impact consulting and planning solutions? As a Senior Manager on our SALT team, you will take ownership of complex state income tax engagements for investment companies, management companies, and other sophisticated client structures. In this role, you will lead strategic SALT consulting and planning initiatives, drive technical analysis from structuring through compliance, and serve as a trusted advisor and thought leader in the direct tax space—while mentoring team members and contributing to practice growth.

Estimated Base Range: $110,000-$210,000*

*Base compensation offered to candidates are determined based on factors such as candidate's relevant skillset, experience, licensure, and certifications, as well as job responsibilities, geography, market considerations, and organizational needs.
