JOB SUMMARY:

Performs administrative duties in the specialized areas of customer service and eligibility determinations of property tax exemptions, and research of property ownership records for the Hillsborough County Property Appraiser (HCPA). 

Work is performed under general supervision with moderate latitude in the use of initiative. Position relies on experience to determine the best approach by using and interpreting policies and procedures.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

To qualify for this position, an individual would have a combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience equivalent to what is described below.

High school diploma or GED and two (2) or more years of experience working in a customer service or data entry position for a government property appraisal office or real estate company/agency; OR associate degree in business or related field and some experience as listed above

In addition to meeting the minimum qualifications listed above, an individual must be able to perform each of the established essential functions in order to perform this job successfully.
