Job Title: Tax Provision Manager
Location: Edison, NJ, US
Hybrid
Salary: $138,000 – $172,500 + bonus
Responsibilities
- Manage tax engagements from planning to completion
- Review corporate tax returns and identify tax-saving opportunities
- Lead and review ASC 740 tax provision work
- Supervise and mentor junior staff
- Handle client communication and maintain relationships
- Support tax research and respond to IRS/state inquiries
Key Requirements
- Active CPA (NY) or JD with active law license
- 4–7+ years of corporate tax experience
- Strong experience in ASC 740 (tax provisions) – preparation, review, or audit
- Experience in public accounting (Top 15 or large regional firm preferred)
- Experience working with large, multi-state or global companies
- Must currently be at Manager level (not Senior Associate)
- Stable work history (no frequent job changes)
Core Skills
- Corporate income tax compliance & consulting
- US GAAP and tax accounting knowledge
- State & local tax, international tax, and transfer pricing exposure
- Strong analytical, communication, and client management skills
- Experience managing engagements and teams
Nice to Have
- Experience with OneSource Tax Provision (OTP) software
