WHAT YOU'LL DO
- E-file federal and state tax returns and extensions
- Process, collate, and send finalized tax returns to clients
- Scan and manage tax documents and e-file authorization forms
- Set up and maintain client files throughout the year
- Assist with tax organizers and preparation for the next filing season
- Provide administrative and tracking support during busy tax seasons
- Serve as backup support for general business functions (reception, scanning, filing)
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Associate's degree in business preferred; equivalent experience considered
- 3-5 years in a professional office environment - public accounting experience is a strong plus
- Familiarity with CCH Axcess Software and ELF Electronic Filing System preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and professional email communication
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
- Collaborative team player with clear verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to commit extra hours during peak tax season when the team needs it
WHAT WE OFFER
- Competitive salary: $55,000 - $75,000 based on experience
