A growing public accounting firm is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to help lead and expand its tax practice.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the preparation and review of tax engagements by coordinating staffing, scheduling, and workflow.
- Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and other entities.
- Manage client budgets, engagement timelines, and production goals.
- Build and strengthen client relationships while serving as a trusted advisor.
- Develop an understanding of clients' businesses to provide proactive tax planning and consulting.
- Improve departmental processes by identifying efficiencies and implementing best practices.
- Maintain quality control procedures throughout the tax engagement process.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
- Active CPA license required.
- 5+ years of recent public accounting experience with a primary focus on taxation.
- Strong experience preparing and reviewing complex tax returns.
- Experience managing multiple client engagements simultaneously.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel functions.
- Experience with tax preparation and accounting software is preferred.
