About the Opportunity
We are expanding our presence in Tampa, FL, through a recent firm combination that brings additional resources, expertise, and growth opportunities. This is a unique chance to join a small, close-knit office (5–6 professionals) where your contributions will be highly visible and impactful.
Because of the team’s size, this role is hands-on—leaders are actively involved in both preparing and reviewing returns. This environment is ideal for someone who enjoys staying technically engaged while also mentoring and developing others.
What You’ll Do
- Build strong internal relationships to foster teamwork and collaboration
- Deliver an exceptional client experience
- Prepare and review a variety of tax returns, including:
- Individual
- Partnership
- S-Corporation and other entities
- Conduct tax research and develop solutions for complex or unique client needs
- Mentor, coach, and develop junior team members
- Provide guidance, feedback, and growth opportunities to associates
- Contribute to business development and firm growth initiatives
- Identify opportunities to expand services with existing clients
- Engage in community involvement and professional activities
What You’ll Bring
- 6+ years of tax experience in public accounting or industry
- Active CPA license (MST is a plus)
- Strong client service and communication skills
- Experience reviewing returns and leading engagements
- A collaborative, team-oriented mindset
