Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager with 7+ years of public accounting experience to join our team. This role will focus on working with high-net-worth clients and complex tax returns, while also reviewing staff work and delivering strategic tax planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review complex federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and entities
- Review returns prepared by staff; provide feedback, mentorship, and training
- Provide year-round tax planning and advisory services
- Calculate and project current-year estimated tax liabilities
- Work with high-net-worth individuals and businesses on complex tax matters
- Communicate directly with clients to gather information and address tax inquiries
- Ensure compliance with IRS and state regulations
Qualifications
- 7+ years of tax experience in public accounting
- Active CPA license (required)
- Strong experience with high-net-worth clients and complex returns
- Deep knowledge of federal and state tax laws
- Experience reviewing staff work and managing deadlines
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $100,000 – $125,000 (based on experience)
