🚀 Tax Manager – Corporate Tax (ASC 740 Focus)

US | Remote | $150k base plus overtime, equity and bonus

We're partnering with a high-growth, PE-backed advisory firm that's continuing to invest in its Corporate Tax practice.

If you're looking to move beyond a traditional compliance role while continuing to leverage your ASC 740 expertise, this could be an excellent next step.

Unlike many corporate tax roles, you'll work across a diverse portfolio of mid-market and PE-backed clients, gaining exposure to advisory work alongside core tax provision and compliance responsibilities.

You'll have the opportunity to:

• Lead income tax provision engagements (ASC 740)
• Manage federal and multi-state corporate tax compliance for C-Corporations
• Support tax planning and special advisory projects
• Partner directly with CFOs and finance leaders
• Mentor junior team members while accelerating your own career progression

Ideal background

You will be:

• A Tax Senior or early Manager within a Big 4 or Top 10 firm
• Strong in ASC 740 tax provisions and corporate tax compliance
• CPA qualified (or actively pursuing qualification)
• Looking for greater variety, client exposure, and faster career progression than a traditional in-house or compliance-focused role can offer

This role is probably not for you if:

• Your experience is primarily in SALT, indirect tax, or VAT
• You haven't worked extensively with ASC 740 tax provisions
• You're looking exclusively for an in-house industry position
