Senior Tax Associate / Senior Tax Manager – 1040 Focus

Compensation: $120,000–$150,000 DOE + Paid OT / Bankable PTO Hours

A well-established, 40-year-old CPA firm in the Greenwood Village area is looking to add a strong Senior Tax or Tax Manager to its team. This is a unique opportunity to step into a highly visible role with a loyal client base and play a key part in the firm’s future growth and transformation.

This position will focus entirely on individual tax work, specifically 1040 returns. The right person will handle solo 1040 returns from start to finish, including preparation, review, filing, and direct client communication.

This is a great fit for someone who enjoys owning their work, building strong client relationships, and being a trusted front-line contact for client needs.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Prepare, review, and file individual 1040 tax returns from start to finish
• Manage client communication and serve as the main point of contact for individual tax clients
• Work directly with firm leadership and contribute to the future growth of the firm
• Provide a high level of service to a well-established and loyal client base
• Help improve processes and bring fresh ideas to a respected local firm

Ideal Background
