The Opportunity
As a Tax Technology PARS - Intern, you will engage in the dynamic world of tax technology, supporting our teams in delivering innovative solutions that help clients navigate the complexities of the global tax landscape. Within our Tax practice, you will gain exposure to cutting-edge tax strategies and methodologies, contributing to projects that drive compliance and optimize tax positions for businesses.
As an Intern, you will focus on learning and gaining exposure to PwC's practices. You will support teams by performing basic tasks and conducting research, while observing professional work environments. This role emphasizes the importance of taking both observational and participatory roles on teams, allowing you to develop your personal brand and build a foundation for future opportunities.
In this role, you will have the chance to work on a variety of assignments, each presenting unique challenges and scope. Responsibilities
- Supporting teams in delivering technology solutions within the tax consulting domain
- Participating in the development and implementation of software and product innovations
- Assisting in the preparation and planning of deliverables for client projects
- Engaging in research and analysis to understand complex tax regulations and strategies
- Observing and learning from experienced professionals to gain exposure to PwC's practices
- Contributing to the optimization of tax strategies and compliance processes
- Collaborating with team members to address client needs and enhance service delivery
- Applying a learning mindset to develop skills in technology delivery and client support
What You Must Have
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields of study: Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Computer and Information Science, Computer Programming, Computer Systems Analysis
- At least a 3.0 overall GPA
- Client service intern positions are considered entry-level roles. Candidates are typically in their third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program at the time of application
