We are hiring a Tax CPA to support individual, small-business, estate, and trust clients while growing into a broader wealth management and financial advisory role.
This role is ideal for an early-career CPA with public accounting or tax experience who enjoys working directly with clients and wants to grow beyond traditional tax preparation. The right candidate will prepare tax returns, identify planning opportunities, support year-round tax projections, and participate in retirement, estate, and financial planning discussions.

Responsibilities
- Meet directly with clients and prepare individual income tax returns
- Prepare small-business and partnership tax returns, including Forms 1065 and 1120
- Assist with trust, estate, and fiduciary tax matters, including Forms 1040, 706, and applicable New Jersey filings
- Develop year-round tax-planning projections and recommendations
- Support financial advisors with tax, retirement, estate-planning, and client budget discussions
- Participate in client meetings involving financial plans, retirement strategies, and estate matters
- Maintain strong client relationships and support new business development opportunities
- Research tax matters and collaborate with managers, partners, and financial advisors
- Assist with client accounting and other year-round advisory services
- Identify opportunities to provide additional tax planning, advisory, and financial planning support to clients
Requirements
- Active CPA license required
- 1–3+ years of public accounting or tax experience
- Experience preparing individual and small-business tax returns
- Experience with partnership and small-business returns preferred
- Interest in financial planning, wealth management, retirement planning, and estate planning
- Comfortable meeting with clients and explaining tax matters clearly
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and maintain accurate client records
- Strong written, verbal, analytical, and organizational skills
- Willingness to work additional evening or Saturday hours during tax season when needed
- Ability to work on-site in the Oradell, NJ office
