Pay: $85,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year

Location: This is a fully remote role. We do not have a required office location, so candidates may work from anywhere in the U.S.

Note: Must have direct property tax experience, ideally involving complex industrial property, manufacturing facilities, business personal property, BPP, ad valorem tax, renditions, assessment review, or property tax appeals. This is not an attorney role, and a law license is not required.

Job Description

• Handle property tax consulting work for commercial, industrial, manufacturing, and business personal property matters
• Review property tax assessments, valuations, notices, renditions, and related documentation
• Assist with BPP filings, property tax compliance, assessment analysis, and appeal preparation
• Work with clients to identify potential property tax savings and exposure areas
• Support complex industrial property tax projects involving machinery, equipment, facilities, and taxable business assets
• Communicate with clients, assessors, appraisal districts, and internal team members
• Prepare analysis, documentation, and recommendations related to property tax matters
• Help grow the firm's property tax consulting capabilities in a high-demand niche
• Contribute to client service, relationship management, and future business development opportunities

Qualifications

• 2+ years of property tax, BPP, industrial property tax, ad valorem tax, assessment, valuation, or tax consulting experience
• Experience with business personal property, industrial assets, manufacturing facilities, commercial property, or complex property tax matters strongly preferred
• Understanding of property tax assessments, filings, renditions, appeals, valuation issues, or tax savings opportunities
• Strong analytical, communication, and client service skills
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
• CPA is not currently required unless later confirmed by the client
• Law license is not required
