Salary – $22.60 - $37.86 Hourly Wage

Key Responsibilities
Day-to-day responsibilities of this position:
- Experience negotiating with customers
- Review complex tax cases (Tax Clearance, Bonds, Bankruptcy, Garnishments)
- Prior experience in collections, including taking legal action
- Basic understanding of Utah tax laws
- Skills in dealing with customers an adverse environment
- Prior experience working with customers over the phone
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Be able to do your part in a team environment
- Research information to find answer to questions
- Data entry skills
- Has exceptional customer service skills
- Is very detail oriented

- $25.22 - $37.86
Salary
Employees are hired for this position only at entry level (Tax Compliance Agent II), $23.73 an
hour. We are unable to negotiate hourly wage amounts. DHRM rules apply for promotions/transfers for
current state employees.
Qualifications
Minimum or "day-one" qualifications:
- Has experience with GenTax/Collections
- Is able to work in office at least two days per week, or as needed.
