We are seeking an experienced Tax Auditor / Revenue Compliance Specialist to support tax compliance, auditing, and investigative activities.
Responsibilities:
- Review tax returns, payments, and financial records
- Conduct audits and compliance investigations
- Research unpaid taxes and non-filer cases
- Analyze financial statements and identify discrepancies
- Maintain audit and collection records
- Communicate with taxpayers and representatives
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in tax, accounting, auditing, finance, or collections
- Strong knowledge of state and federal tax laws
- Experience with audits, investigations, and compliance reviews
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience using database and tracking systems
Preferred:
- Government revenue, taxation, or regulatory agency experience
