- Prepare personal and business tax returns as needed.
- Assemble tax workpapers in a clear, organized, and functional manner with appropriate notations.
- Present completed tax return packages to clients in person or electronically through DocuSign, as needed.
- Service clients by taking calls, scheduling appointments, and assisting walk-in or drop-in clients.
- Generate billing for completed returns.
- Communicate with clients to obtain bank statements, transaction details, and other required documentation.
- Accurately enter financial data into internal EABATS systems.
- Maintain data integrity within CRM systems, internal processes, and databases.
- Generate profit and loss statements to provide clients with a clear view of their finances.
- Generate balance sheets to reflect clients’ financial position, including assets, liabilities, and equity.
- Assign and maintain revenue and expense transaction coding and classifications.
- Process monthly, quarterly, or semi-annual General Excise Tax filings for clients.
- Research special tax and accounting issues as needed.
- Stay current on tax guidance, rules, regulations, and industry changes.
- Provide client support outside of tax season, including assistance with tax notices, refunds, and related matters.
- Remain up to date with continuing education requirements, as applicable.
- Support special projects and other tax or accounting-related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.
- Minimum of one full tax season of experience required.
- Enrolled Agent, also known as EA, preferred but not required.
- Experience preparing personal and/or business tax returns.
- Strong client service skills and ability to respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

- Base salary range of $50,000 to $60,000 per year, based on experience.
