Job Description
What is the opportunity?
To manage the classification of clients, collection of core withholding tax documentation and production and filing of global tax relief forms to ensure the timely, accurate and efficient double tax treaty exemptions on global assets. Demonstrate high level of competency with the capability to validate overall activities with high level of accuracy.
What will you do?
Review and control the collection of all core tax documentation to enable full tax service offering in markets RBC offers service
Monitor and assist in processing of all new accounts to ensure that all target production periods are met while adhering to expected accuracy metrics
Manage the reconciliation process between sub-custodian, client reporting platforms and internal reclaim system records
Daily monitoring of group mailbox queues for delegation & fulfillment respecting established service level agreements
Annual re-solicitation of Relief at Source documentation across all global markets
Processing and verification payment of received tax refunds within set timeframes
To ensure that a client focused service approach is adopted at all times in completing work to the highest standards of accuracy
Adherence to Policy & Procedural guidelines, including monitoring for pertinent revisions
What do you need to succeed?
Must have:
Proficiency with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, spreadsheet/financial accounting skills
High level of time management and organization skills
Demonstrated skills in providing world-class client service that will come across as professional, warm, and friendly to our clients
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Nice to have:
Previous experience in a business environment
Knowledge in financial services

Be returning back to school after the work term end-date; or
If you are not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating immediately after the work term), you must require the full work term as a mandatory component in order to graduate successfully
