Job Description
- Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, and estate tax returns with accuracy and confidence.
- Provide proactive tax planning strategies that help clients make smarter financial decisions.
- Research federal, state, and local tax laws to ensure compliance and identify tax-saving opportunities.
- Support clients with estate and trust taxation, financial reporting, and accounting matters.
- Review financial statements, reconciliations, and accounting records to ensure accuracy.
- Leverage accounting and tax software to streamline processes and deliver high-quality work.
- Build trusted client relationships by explaining complex tax concepts clearly and offering practical guidance.
Qualifications
- Active CPA license required.
- 2+ years of income tax preparation experience.
- Experience preparing individual and business tax returns.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state income tax regulations.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or Finance.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks and financial reporting tools.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and professional client communication.
- Experience with estate and trust taxation, Engagement Manager, or Intacct is a plus.
