Position Summary:
Our client is seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Enrolled Agent to join their fully remote team. The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of experience in public tax or advisory and a strong understanding of tax laws and regulations, exceptional analytical skills, and a proven ability to deliver accurate and timely tax services while managing efficient production workflows.
Qualifications:
- Enrolled Agent (EA) Credential: Must have an active Enrolled Agent credential.
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years, with a preference for 10 years, of experience in a public tax or advisory setting.
- Time Zone Requirement: Must be located and able to work within the Pacific Standard Time (PST) or Hawaiian Standard Time (HST) zones to ensure seamless collaboration.

- Tax Preparation and Compliance: Prepare and file accurate and timely tax returns for individuals, businesses, and trusts, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Production and Workflow Management: Drive efficient tax production processes, ensuring timely completion of all deliverables and maintenance of high-quality standards.
- IRS Notice Response and Tax Controversy: Respond to IRS and state tax authority notices, and represent clients in audits, appeals, and other tax controversies.
- Tax Research and Planning: Conduct thorough research on tax issues and develop innovative tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities for the company's clients.
- Client Advisory: Provide expert tax advice and guidance to clients, helping them navigate complex tax matters and make informed decisions.
- Team Collaboration (Remote Setting): Work closely with other tax professionals and support staff to deliver exceptional tax services in a remote and collaborative environment.
