Summary
Perform review functions for monthly Financial Statements for assigned portfolios within the guidelines of statutory requirements and the frameworks of the established policies and procedures of the department, while ensuring all contractual due dates are met.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Responsible for accurate and timely completion of peer review of 40+ financial statement packages each month.
• Responsible for responding to inbound inquiries within 24-48 hours.
• Responsible for providing back-up for peers and for pre-sat managerial tasks on an as-needed basis.
• Responsible for daily review of bank accounts of 10+ associations.
• Responsible for the timely completion of estoppels and other assigned projects or duties on a pre-determined basis.
• Provide progress reporting to management for assigned tasks and projects on an as-needed basis.
• Serve as a knowledge leader and liaison for internal and end-user support on a daily basis for 10+ associations.
• Monitor and review financial statements and related work product to ensure departmental standards of quality are maintained.
• Review monthly financial statements for assigned portfolio to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with governing documents and management standards.
• Identify, investigate, and report any discrepancies or errors in financials in a timely manner.
• Ensure monthly financial reporting deadlines for all assigned associations are consistently met.
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail when reviewing transactions, account balances, and supporting documentation.
• Keep leadership informed of any financial issues, variances, or risks that may impact the accuracy of association financials.
• Conduct business at all times with the highest standards of personal, professional and ethical conduct.
• Communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements, policies, and regulatory guidelines.
• Follow all policies and Standard Operating Procedures as instructed by Management.
• Perform any range of special projects, tasks and other related duties as assigned
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, minimum of five years of general ledger accounting experience. Prior experience in the field of property management, real estate and/or residential management preferred.

Physical Requirements/Working Environment
This position works under usual office conditions. The employee is required to work at a personal computer as well as be on the phone for extended periods of time. Must be able to stand, sit and walk. The incumbent may be required to work extended and flexible hours Physical demands include ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
